About Saturday Morning CLinic (SMC)

Each month, UK ASDA proudly hosts our Saturday Morning Clinic (SMC) at UKCD, offering much-needed dental care to children in the Lexington community. On these Saturdays, dental students provide a variety of services, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and extractions.

SMC is a highly successful philanthropic initiative that not only allows us to give back to the community but also provides invaluable hands-on clinical experience with pediatric patients. It's an excellent opportunity for our students to develop the skills necessary for treating younger patients, manage different dental procedures, and gain confidence in their ability to provide compassionate care.

Through SMC, we help improve the oral health of children in our community while making sure they get the dental attention they deserve. At the same time, it's a fantastic way for dental students to learn, grow, and build relationships with their patients. This initiative is a true testament to ASDA’s commitment to both professional development and community service, as we work together to make a lasting, positive impact on Lexington’s youth.
