About Mission Lexington

Mission Health Lexington is a vital non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services to underserved individuals in the Lexington community. Their mission is to bridge the gap in access to essential medical, dental, and mental health care for those who are uninsured, underinsured, or financially struggling.

Mission Health Lexington offers a range of free or low-cost services, including primary care, dental care, vision care, mental health counseling, and more. By working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, volunteers, and students from local universities, the clinic provides high-quality care to individuals who might otherwise go without, improving their overall health and well-being.

The clinic not only provides critical healthcare services but also plays a vital role in educating and empowering individuals about their health. They ensure that no one in the community is left behind when it comes to receiving necessary care.

Mr. Molar

The Mr. Molar Pageant is one of ASDA’s most anticipated and entertaining events of the year, where two gentlemen from each class compete for the prestigious title of “Mr. Molar.” With a fun mix of talent, humor, and creativity, the contestants showcase their unique skills and dental knowledge in front of a lively audience. All proceeds from the pageant benefit Mission Health Lexington, making it a meaningful event that brings our students together for a night of laughter and fundraising for a great cause.

Wine Night

Wine Night is a vibrant and social fundraising event hosted by ASDA to support Mission Health Lexington. Attendees enjoy a night of fine wine, delicious appetizers, and great company, all while participating in a silent auction filled with exciting items and experiences donated by local businesses and generous sponsors. The auction raises funds for the clinic, which provides essential healthcare services to underserved populations in the Lexington community. Wine Night offers a perfect blend of fun, philanthropy, and community spirit, all aimed at improving healthcare access for those in need.

Mission Lex Nights

Mission Lex Nights are held once per month after school and clinic hours, offering dental students the chance to give back directly to the community. During these volunteer nights, students work at Mission Health Lexington, providing essential dental care to underserved individuals who may not have access to these services otherwise. Under the guidance and supervision of experienced faculty, students perform a variety of dental procedures, gaining valuable hands-on experience while making a real difference in patients' lives. These nights not only help students refine their clinical skills but also support Mission Health Lexington’s mission of delivering high-quality, low-cost healthcare to those who need it most.
